Go SMS Pro is featured at the bottom of this list of 5 free sms apps for android because its existing users are not too satisfied with this service. There have been problems with its functionality of sending out text SMS which weren’t delivered on time, requiring users need to resend. I still listed it here as it was working in my case and I was able to send any number of messages from my Nexus 7. Its clutter free user interface was another benefit.

According to Bhatia, this ad supported multi-platform app will make traditional texting redundant.

But, if it was downloaded before it was deleted from the App store, your child may still have it.

OMEGLE

Omegle has been around and has gamed fame for its notoriety. You do not identify yourself through the service – chat participants are only identified as “You” and “Stranger”. You don’t have to register for the App. There is a high risk of sexual predators and you don’t want your kids giving out their personal information, much less even talking to strangers.

This App allows users to send photos that will disappear after 10 seconds. Once the recipient opens the picture, the timer starts. Then it’s gone.
